Weighing technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for our client who are in the manufacturing sector, providing high quality chemical based products to the DIY & construction industry.

THE ROLE:

• weighing out of raw materials from job sheet
• working using metric measuring (grams/Kilograms etc)
• quality checking products - ensuring accurate quantity & quality are measured & collected for machines to produce.
• Updating sheets & CRM systems as required.
• Assisting production team to load & produce products.
• general housekeeping of area.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• Will have previous proven experience in measuring materials & following instructions for manufacturing.
• able to to read and measure in metric format.
• have excellent numeracy & literacy skills
• have excellent IT skills.
• Flexible to work as part of a wider team.
• Be prepared to clean areas in line with H&S standards.
