Job Description
You will be working on the fabrication of large steel structures for the shipbuilding and ship repair industry.
Requirements:
TIG welding to a high standard
- Experience in marine/oil & gas/offshore environments
Ability to work from drawings and specifications
If already coded with private Lloyd's Register codings you will be able to have an immediate start, If not, an in-house weld test will be required before starting
Details:
Hours: Up to 50 per week
Mon- Thurs 8 hours, Tues - Thurs: 12 hours Fri- 6 hours (Tues - Thurs extra hours, project dependant)
- 25/h PAYE Plus 3.02/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced) or 33.48/h Umbrella co
Current contract until late October 2025, with strong chance of extension
- Must have own Airfed welding mask
