Accountant

We are recruiting for a growing accounting firm that service a large number of small business clients across a number of sectors. They are looking for a responsive, detail-orientated accountant to join their team to manage a large portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure all compliance responsibilities are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparation of annual accounts and submitting to Companies House
• Preparation of both company and personal tax returns, and submitting to HMRC
• Responding to queries by telephone or mail that may arise from clients

Skills Required:

• 5+ years' experience in a client-facing role within a financial services environment
• Experience with both personal and company tax returns
• Strong knowledge of inheritance and capital gains tax
• Proven record of looking after clients
