Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who thrives in modern cloud environments and enjoys shaping the future of IT systems?
We're working with a forward-thinking business that's currently undergoing a full on-prem to Azure cloud migration, creating the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to be hands-on with transformation projects while still supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations.
This is a small, close-knit IT environment, so you'll have a genuine voice in technical decisions, architecture, and improvement initiatives - not just a ticket queue.
What You'll Be DoingSupporting and delivering the ongoing on-prem to Azure migration, including design, deployment, and optimisation
Managing hybrid environments across Azure, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, M365, and Active Directory
Implementing and maintaining modern cloud solutions (automation, monitoring, security, and networking)
Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues across both on-prem and cloud
Working closely with the IT leadership team to define and deliver new infrastructure projects
Keeping systems current with cutting-edge technologies and best practices
Around 5 years' experience across infrastructure engineering (cloud and on-prem)
Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure - IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and governance
Strong background with Windows Server, M365, Intune, Active Directory/Azure AD, and PowerShell scripting
Exposure to virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup/disaster recovery tools
Someone who's proactive, solutions-driven, and comfortable taking ownership in a small IT team
£50,000 - £55,000 salary depending on experience
