Painter/Decorator/Multi trade

One of my local clients is seeking an experienced Painter/Decorator/Multitrade to join their housing maintenance team. This role will involve both routine and responsive works across council properties, with a focus on painting, decorating, and treating damp and mould issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day painting and decorating works in council-owned properties.

• Treat and resolve issues related to damp and mould.

• Perform multitrade maintenance tasks where required.

• Work in occupied and void properties, maintaining high standards of workmanship.

• Ensure all work complies with health and safety and council policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a painter/decorator and/or multitrade operative.

• Knowledge and experience of damp and mould treatment.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Full driving licence (desirable but not essential).

• Experience in a social housing or council environment preferred.
