We are currently recruiting for a Category Manager for a Local Authority on an initial 5 month contract.

Please note depending on location this role can be remote home based or hybrid office based.
The main purpose of this role is to be the Category Manager for the Construction Directorate managing procurement and implementation of services, goods and contracts. Experience within construction isn't essential.
The ideal candidate will be a experienced Procurement and Category professional in the Public Sector with experience ensuring value for money, running procurement strategies, analysing information, coordinating tender processes, building partnerships and also relationships internally. You will also be CIPS Qualified or working towards your certification.
