Job Description

We've got a unique opportunity for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join our client's team in Canary Wharf, working within a high end, commercial property! This is an outstanding role if you're looking to gain valuable career progression, additional training and to work on a flagship site.

This is a static role, following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, Day shift only.

As an Electrical Day Shift Engineer, you'll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, trouble shoot / fault find, respond to emergencies, update site logbooks, report into the Site Supervisor and ensure all compliance duties are carried out.

Electrical Day Shift Engineer Duties:

  • Perform scheduled PPM and respond to reactive maintenance requests
  • Work on Single & Three Phase Power systems, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, Pumps, and BMS
  • Safely isolate and reinstate plant equipment as required
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate site records, including RAMS and logbooks
  • Operate and manage jobs through the PDA system
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries on-site
  • Promote safe working practices at all times

Electrical Day Shift Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Electrical installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years experience within commercial building maintenance
  • Strong understanding / experience on commercial electrical and mechanical systems
  • Live within commutable distance to Canary Wharf
  • Apprentice trained - Desirable

Salary and Package:

  • £49,000 - £52,000 per annum
  • 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (Day shift only)
