Our client, a leading Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) firm in Leeds, is seeking a Senior HR Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's people strategy, supporting its growth, and driving operational excellence at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Implement board directives and ensure actions from board meetings are effectively executed.
- Oversee acquisitions and manage the integration of new teams and processes.
- Provide line management and strategic support to department leaders.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, and corporate governance standards.
- Partner with the board and senior leadership to drive organisational development initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior HR role within a wealth management or financial planning firm
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and performance management frameworks.
- Experience with board governance and translating strategic decisions into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing multiple teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in supporting acquisitions or organisational change is highly desirable.
