Salary: £68,000+ 6,500 car allowance + bonus

Are you an experienced Engineer or Engineering Manager ready to lead exciting residential developments? Join a growing housing development team in the South West as an Engineering Manager and make a real impact.

What You'll Do:

• Lead engineering for new developments, working closely with internal teams and external consultants.
• Produce site feasibilities, drainage strategies, foundations, and structural solutions that are practical, cost-effective, and compliant.
• Manage consultants through all stages, from land bids and planning to working drawings.
• Review designs to ensure buildability, value engineering, and efficiency.
• Attend planning, pre-tender, and pre-start meetings.
• Collaborate with site teams and department heads to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

What We're Looking For

• Engineering/construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
• Experience in geotechnical reports, drainage strategies, highways design, and foundations
• Working knowledge of housing development, preferably working directly for a housing developer
• Strong organisational skills, self-motivated, and proactive.
• IT-savvy (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a full driving licence.
• Hands-on, positive, and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
