Job Description:

Our client who are a law firm specialising in conveyancing is seeking a full-time conveyancer with experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire conveyancing process for residential and commercial properties from initiation to completion
  • Handle a portfolio of complex cases, ensuring each transaction adheres to legal requirements and timelines
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of property law, regulations, and local conveyancing procedures
  • Provide expert advice to clients on legal matters related to property transactions, including title searches, zoning issues, and contractual obligations
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and transfer documents
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation, minimising the risk of errors or discrepancies
  • Advise clients on any legal implications or risks associated with the property being conveyed
  • Perform title searches and examinations to verify the legal ownership of properties and identify any encumbrances or restrictions
  • Address any title-related issues and work towards resolving them efficiently
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, paralegals, and support staff to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the conveyancing department

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
