We are seeking a proactive and driven Materials Scheduling Planner to join a dynamic team in Redditch. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
As a Materials Scheduling Planner, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, maintaining accurate stock control, and supporting demand planning and forecasting. You will play a key role in ensuring that materials are available when needed, helping to maintain smooth operations across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory control.
Assist in demand planning and forecasting to support production requirements.
Identify and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure materials requirements align with business needs.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in materials planning, stock control, or supply chain coordination.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Initiative-driven mindset with the ability to problem-solve independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for supplier and internal team interactions.
Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel (experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus).
