Manchester City Centre - Hybrid Working

Salary: Up to £35,000

Full-Time Permanent 35 Hours per Week

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be representing a prestigious, award-winning Independent Financial Adviser practice based in the heart of Manchester's Spinningfields district.

Renowned for its excellence in client service and employee development, this firm provides holistic financial advice to both High Net Worth individuals and corporate clients. They are now seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join their Operations Team, offering an exceptional opportunity to develop your technical knowledge within a supportive, professional environment.

The Role

As an IFA Administrator, you will play a vital part in supporting Advisers and clients, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and high-quality service delivery. You'll manage administrative processes across the full client lifecycle - from onboarding to ongoing servicing - while working closely with advisers, paraplanners, and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process new business applications and fund switches across all product types.
  • Manage Letters of Authority, ensuring all provider information is obtained and recorded.
  • Prepare client valuations, portfolio summaries, and pre-meeting documentation.
  • Handle AML checks, fee administration, and client servicing requests.
  • Maintain accurate client records on Intelliflo and other systems.
  • Support client onboarding via the digital client portal.
  • Liaise with clients, advisers, and product providers to ensure efficient service.
  • Contribute to maintaining compliance and upholding FCA regulations, including Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty principles.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years' experiencein an IFA or Wealth Management administration role.
  • Broad knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection products.
  • Experience using Intelliflo, Iress, or similar back-office systems.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and professional attitude.
  • Industry qualifications such as the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning are desirable but not essential.
