CNC Setter Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC machines (milling and/or turning) to manufacture precision metal components.
• Work with a variety of materials including stainless steel, brass, aluminium, and mild steel.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, and job specifications.
• Perform first-off inspections and quality checks using micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling as required to maintain tolerances and part accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience as a CNC Setter (Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Mazak controls an advantage).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good understanding of metal machining and finishing processes.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
Experience in a precision engineering or fabrication environment preferred.
