Do you have strong account management and commercial experience gained within the logistics sector?Our client provides international logistics & supply chain services to a wide customer base, from retailers to SMEs. The company is looking to add to their commercial team in Southampton, working closely with the Commercial Director & the operations team.In this role, you'll focus on managing and developing existing customer relationships - ensuring service excellence, identifying growth opportunities, and maximising account potential. The Role:You'll take full responsibility for a portfolio of key customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction. Your focus will be on strengthening relationships, identifying opportunities for added value, and developing long-term strategic account plans. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement. Essential Criteria:- Previous logistics / freight forwarding experience- Proven experience in account management or customer development- Full driving licence - regular client visits- Strong communication and negotiation skills- Excellent customer service and IT skills About the Company:Our client has offices throughout the the globe and has a great reputation as a market leader in their field.
