Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Hours: Full Time, Hybrid

SF Recruitment are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant, on a long term contract for our client. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for accounts payable, cash allocation, reconciliations and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable
  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and promptly
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with weekly/monthly payment runs and ensure timely supplier payments
  • Allocate payments
  • Bank reconciliations (weekly/monthly)
  • Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
