£30,850 per year + regular overtime OPPORTUNITY TO EARN

48 hours per week Monday to Thursday 6am 4.30pm, Fridays 6am-2.30pm

Pearson Whiffin s Manufacturing, Engineering and Technical team are delighted to be working with an excellent employer within the Medway area in their search for a Production Operative within their Shotblasting team!

This role involves:

• Working in a manufacturing environment as part of a team, but working independently
• Shot blasting manufactured components
• Using hand and power tools
• Following technical instructions to complete tasks accurately, accurately recording your work using touch screen systems and following processes
• Quality checking your work
• Manual handling to move materials around the factory
• Assisting with additional tasks when required

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working in a physical factory-based role within manufacturing
• Experience working within a relevant field working with metal ideally
• A good level of physical fitness, and be happy to carry out manual handling tasks
• A positive attitude to work with a good track record of reliability
• A good level of attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions closely
• Flexibility in terms of the hours worked, with a willingness to undertake overtime

The best candidates will have:

• Experience using a shot blaster
• Prepared metal for painting previously
• An interest in the automotive sector
• A driving licence and your own vehicle
