Payroll and Pensions Officer Liverpool 9 Months Hybrid

You will be working for a large public sector organisation.
Your new role
- Process and manage payroll using the iTrent HR and Payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, continuously improving internal payroll controls and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Managed Payroll Service to ensure correct and timely payroll submissions.
- Support statutory payroll activities, including P60s, P11Ds, and year-end returns.
- Administer LGPS pension scheme tasks, handling starters, leavers, changes, and form submissions.
- Act as a key contact for pension queries, ensuring accurate data is maintained and submitted on time.
