An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client, an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.

Vacancy Brief:

• The vacancy is that of a Recovery Support Worker, supporting clients with substance misuse complex support needs.
• This is initially a interim role but scope for permanence.
• Based in Wolverhampton.
• A part-time job, 24 hours per week.
• Shift pattern Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday managing a caseload of clients
• Pay rate for this job role is £14.09 ph. PAYE, £18.07ph Umbrella
• Mileage will be paid at 0.45p per mile for any work-related travel.
• A current Enhanced DBS will be required for this vacancy.

The Responsibilities:

• As a Recovery Support Worker, you will provide information, advice and support primarily via telephone but also face to face and in groups.
• In your role as a Recovery Support Worker, you will deliver interventions in a wide range of settings such as criminal justice, primary care, schools and youth centers.
• An important aspect of your role will be to undertake elements of assessment and case management with clients as directed.
• Furthermore, you will liaise with external agencies, e.g., GP's, treatment providers, and social care services.

Skill Outcomes of this role:

This role provides an excellent springboard into other criminal justice professions including experience of working with a range of criminal justice agencies.

In addition, you will gain experience in liaising local authority Housing Benefit departments and the DWP to resolve financial issues.
