This company is a market leader in renewable energy innovation, developing cutting-edge technologies that help businesses unlock greater value from biogas and biomethane production. Working with anaerobic digestion operators, developers and energy businesses across the UK, they deliver specialist equipment and commercial solutions that support the transition towards a more sustainable energy future. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their commercial team. This autonomous role will involve developing new business opportunities, managing complex capital equipment sales and working closely with customers to create commercially viable technical solutions. You will spend the majority of your time visiting customer sites and developing relationships throughout the UK. This role would suit a Business Development Manager with experience within the AD, renewable energy, gas processing or capital equipment sectors who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and managing technically complex sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to project completion. The Role: Develop new business opportunities within the UK anaerobic digestion and renewable energy sectors Build and manage a pipeline of capital equipment and technical solution sales Meet with AD owners, operators, developers and energy companies to understand operational and commercial requirements Prepare technical proposals, quotations, ROI models and commercial business cases Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and order placement Work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver technically credible customer solutions Attend industry exhibitions, networking events and customer meetings across the UK Hybrid role with extensive UK travel The Person: Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Sales Engineer or similar Experience within Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas, Biomethane, Renewable Energy, Gas Processing or Capital Equipment Full UK Driving Licence Reference: BBBH26410 We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitable candidates.
