Site Manager Ayrshire About the Role We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in renewable energy or substation projects. Initially based on a major project in Ayrshire, this role will later expand to oversee projects across the UK.
You will play a key role in managing on-site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are maintained.
- Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and coordination.
- Monitor progress against programme, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
Skills & Experience Required - Proven experience as a Site Manager within the renewable energy, substation, or power infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and construction best practice.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites across the UK as required.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NEBOSH, or similar).

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
