Job Description

Successful FMCG retail business require a Supply Chain Analyst. Applicants need previous experience in a; supply chain, merchandising, demand planning, forecasting, logistics, purchasing, order management or sales order processing role and analytical skills.

Specific duties of the Supply Chain Analyst include:

  • Managing stock availability and performance to meet internal and customer targets
  • Collaborating with key customers and suppliers to ensure smooth, on-time stock replenishment
  • Leading range changes and supporting new product launches
  • Forecasting demand monthly and planning for promotional events
  • Identifying and resolving issues that affect stock efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Providing outstanding customer service through clear and timely communication
  • Supporting the wider supply team with ad hoc tasks and analysis

Supply Chain Analyst applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in a; Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Merchandising, Sales Order Processing, Order Management
  • Experience within a FMCG or retail environment would be advantageous
  • Strong IT skills - MS Excel, Power BI, or MRP, ERP
  • Previous experience with forecasting
  • Commercial mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A relationship builder - both internally and externally
  • Proactive, positive, and resilient
