We are seeking a Deskside Support Specialist to join our IT support team in London. This is a hands-on technical role providing on-site support to our client's customers across various locations as required. The successful candidate will be involved in both BAU (Business As Usual) support and project/backfill activities.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT support professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with end users in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide deskside and remote IT support to users across multiple customer sites.
 - Deliver hardware and software troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment.
 - Assist with project-related IT activities and provide backfill support as needed.
 - Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved in line with SLAs.
 - Maintain accurate documentation and asset records.
 - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
 
Skills & Experience Required- Previous experience in a deskside or field support role.
 - Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
 - Good understanding of hardware troubleshooting and peripheral setup.
 - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
 - Full UK driving licence 
 - Must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance (no criminal records, must have had residency in the UK for 5+ years) 
 
Additional InformationThis is a full-time, permanent role based primarily in London, with occasional travel to customer sites. All travel costs are reimbursable in line with company policy. A company laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
