Annual Salary: 21.41 - 26.13 per hour PAYE or 27.86 - 34.12 Umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer-Centric Service: Deliver an excellent, high-profile Development Management Service focused on meeting the needs of service users.
• Planning Applications: Process planning applications, manage appeals, and address customer complaints, providing expert advice to officers, councillors, and developers.
• Training & Development: Stay current with the planning system through continuous training, ensuring your skills and knowledge are top-notch.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to improve service quality and tackle local challenges innovatively.
• Performance Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and promote a positive image of Hounslow.

What We're Looking For:

• Planning Expertise: Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and practises.
• Advising Skills: Ability to provide sound technical and professional advice to councillors and management.
• Project Management: Experience in leading complex applications and negotiating effectively with stakeholders.
• Discrimination Awareness: Commitment to eradicating discrimination and promoting diversity within the workplace and community.
• Communication Skills: Excellent report presentation and appeal management abilities.
