Treasury Finance Manager
Location: Leicester (Hybrid - 1 day in the office per week) Salary: Up to £55,000 per year + Benefits

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the council's treasury and capital investment strategy.
• Oversee capital budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Manage and mentor a small finance team, driving performance and innovation.
• Make key decisions on borrowing and investment activities.
• Represent the council in regional and national finance forums.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

What We're Looking For

• A qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on treasury experience.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial appraisals.
• Confident leader with a track record of developing teams.
• Knowledge of local government finance and capital legislation is a plus.
