Our client, a growing Renewables Tech company in the Heat network space, is seeking 2 talented and dedicated Permanent Quantity Surveyors to join their team in South England or Glasgow. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing costs, budgets, and contractual aspects of various M&E construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise will support the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion, fostering strong supplier and client relationships, and providing accurate cost forecasts and valuations.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E or MEP / Refurbishment sectors
- Strong understanding of contractual obligations and procurement processes
- Excellent skills in cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of relevant UK building codes and health & safety regulations
- Proficiency in QS software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers
