Project Manager for a major Bess Project based in Poland.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. Oversee all construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure clients Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards are fully integrated into project plans and adhered to at all stages.
- Management of site team and day-to-day implementation of all project activities on site.
- liaise with the engineering team responsible for reviewing final designs and conducting quality control inspections throughout the construction phase.
- Manage EPC contractors, technology suppliers, and owner-supplied equipment to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, maintain accurate cash flow forecasts, and identify efficiencies to support responsible cost management.
- Oversee minor permitting and planning applications in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to technical specifications and implement rigorous quality control measures.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks using PMO tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with PMO and EPC contractors to develop and manage project timelines effectively.
- Maintain accurate project documentation (e.g., schedules, risk registers) and provide regular updates to senior leadership team.
- Work alongside the clients Finance team to ensure the smooth execution of financing processes. This includes, support preparation of offering materials, liaising with various external diligence advisors, contribute to debt drawdown processes and supporting financing reporting requirements
- Manage the relationship and activities between the Grid Operator and contractors.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Significant experience in a Lead project management role within onshore renewable projects
- Strong understanding of the management of financed projects from the owner perspective.
- Significant experience and understanding of Power generation and capacity contracts
