Manage component obsolescence by identifying suitable replacement parts and updating designs. Keep up to date with new technologies and engineering developments to support product improvement. Hardware Engineer (Electronics) Location: Nottingham (Hybrid 4 days onsite) Salary: £45,000 £55,000 + Benefits The Role We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer (Electronics) to join a growing engineering team in Nottingham. You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing electronic hardware solutions from initial concept through to production. Working alongside hardware and software engineers, you will contribute to a range of embedded product development projects and work directly with customers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electronic hardware from specification through to production. Create schematics and support multi-layer PCB design. Prototype, test and debug hardware using laboratory equipment. Work with embedded systems including MCUs, MPUs, sensors, RF, power electronics and digital electronics.
