Senior Actuarial Analyst

West Midlands

Salary dependent upon experience

Circa 35k - 65k - neg- excellent package

Flexible working - Hybrid or Office

Would suit a person either qualified, part qualified actuary or pension administrator with a maths, finance or economics degree with DB pension experience.

My client is one of the leading providers specialising in defined benefit pension schemes.

This is an exciting tome for them as they are expanding their operations and are looking for either a qualified or part qualified Actuary or pensions administrator with DB pensions experience.

Duties include:

  • Completing and checking actuarial valuations and funding updates.accounting disclosures and solving client manager questions
  • Supporting schemes and client managers,drafting plans and preparing client advice
  • Checking adjustment calculations from Mantle
  • Clearly lay out calculations with all figures in reports and checking work of junior trainees
  • Acknowledge queries by email and respond promptly
  • Ensuring work complies with Technical Actuarial Standards where appropriate
