An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Building Surveyor to join a dynamic estates and facilities team within a leading higher education institution. This is a full-time position on a 12-month temporary contract, offering the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of construction projects ranging from minor refurbishments to complex new builds.
Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering building surveying design and project management services across a wide range of capital and maintenance projects. You'll be working within a collaborative internal consultancy environment, managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring best value is achieved throughout.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you'll need to be degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline, with ideally full membership of a recognised professional body such as RICS. A minimum of five years' experience at a senior technical level is essential, along with a solid understanding of JCT contracts and CDM regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, NBS Create, and MS Office (including MS Project) is also required.
