About the Role
We're hiring a Chef Manager , where you'll be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy meals You'll lead a small team and bring creativity and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook a rotating menu of child-friendly meals: roasts, curries, lasagne, chilli, fish & chips, and vegetarian dishes
- Manage a team of 2 catering assistants
- Oversee kitchen hygiene, food safety, and allergen protocols
- Liaise with staff to ensure smooth service and dietary compliance
Requirements
- Experience in a similar Chef Manager or Head Chef role
- Enhanced DBS (can start on risk assessment while DBS is processed)
- Ability to manage a small team and kitchen operations
- Friendly, reliable, and passionate
