Groundwork Instructor
Location: CB8 Newmarket
Contract: Full-time
Monday to Thursday, Fridays half day
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Ground Worker who can instruct and mentor/ train disengaged Learners to help them achieve a skills vocational certificate.
We will train you to become a Tutor to deliver Streetworks/Groundwork qualifications up to Level 2 within HMP Highpoint. Working with small groups of prison-based learners, you will help develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them to work towards long-term personal and career goals.
This will support engaging courses that enable learners to achieve their full potential.
What Are We Looking For?
Level 2 Streetworks/Groundwork qualification
Strong work expereince and vocational background with substantial Groundworks industry experience
Experience delivering vocational training (Desirable not essential)
Teaching or assessing qualification (desirable)
Ability to use varied and engaging training methods
If you do not currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, support can be provided to achieve this during your probationary period.
