Junior Graphic Designer

Telford Office Based

Permanent

Salary depending on experience

Monday to Friday 8.30am 5pm (early finish on a Friday)

Prince is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join one of our long-standing clients in Telford. This is a globally recognised organisation with a strong international brand presence, and you ll be based at their Telford site, working alongside a talented and supportive creative team.

The role offers a permanent position within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where you ll collaborate with experienced Graphic Designers and contribute to a wide range of creative projects. Our client welcomes applications from candidates at all levels of experience, including graduates looking to take the next step in their design career.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for producing artwork for both print and digital platforms, including packaging, banners, and product graphics.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Designing artwork across multiple platforms - creating visuals for print, digital, and social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Developing creative assets for diverse purposes - including marketing campaigns, product packaging, promotional banners, infographics, and event collateral.
  • Editing and retouching imagery - enhancing studio shots, lifestyle photography, and product visuals for use across e-commerce, advertising, and editorial content.
  • Maintaining brand consistency - applying company branding standards to produce polished, high-quality designs that strengthen brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams - supporting marketing, product, and communications departments with design needs for day-to-day projects.
  • Assisting in concept development - contributing ideas to brainstorming sessions, mood boards, and creative pitches to help shape campaign direction.
  • Preparing files for production - ensuring artwork is correctly formatted for print, packaging, and digital outputs, liaising with suppliers when necessary.
  • Exploring new design trends and tools - keeping up to date with industry developments and suggesting fresh approaches to enhance creative output.
  • Supporting digital content creation - designing assets for websites, email campaigns, and social media posts to engage audiences online.
  • Organising and managing design resources - maintaining image libraries, templates, and design files to streamline workflow and support the wider team

Skills and Experience required:

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Lightroom.
  • Ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines to produce consistent, high-quality artwork across all formats.
  • Understanding of print production processes is advantageous; training will be provided where necessary.
  • A responsible, organised, and self-motivated creative professional with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to contribute effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Skilled in managing priorities, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident in working on Mac systems and navigating design software with ease.
  • Comfortable with multitasking and adapting to varied design requirements.
  • Ideally suited to candidates with prior experience as a Graphic Designer, Junior Graphic Designer, or Graduate Graphic Designer.
