A Mechanical Electrical (ME) Design Engineer for mission-critical product.
Role is to design robust system for high-stakes environment focusing on reliability, redundancy, and performance, blending mechanical (enclosures, thermal, structures) and electrical (power, control, distribution, HVAC) expertise, using CAD/FEA, adhering to strict codes, and collaborating across teams to ensure zero downtime and flawless operation from concept to production.
Core Responsibilities
Integrated Design: Develop complete solutions, integrating mechanical components (chassis, cooling) with electrical systems (power supplies, controls) for seamless functionality.
Reliability Redundancy: Design for fail-safe operations, fault tolerance, and continuous availability, essential for mission-critical uptime.
Analysis Simulation: Perform structural (FEA), thermal, and electrical analysis to predict performance and prevent failures.
Prototyping Testing: Create, test, and validate designs, ensuring they meet rigorous performance and environmental standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with systems, software, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.
Documentation: Produce detailed schematics, drawings, BOMs, and design specifications.
