We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Primary Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive primary school in Greenwich on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for a professional with a strong background in supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a Primary Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them to engage positively with learning and develop effective self-regulation strategies. You will be a key part of the school's pastoral and inclusion provision, working collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff, and senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group behavioural and emotional support
Support pupils with SEMH needs to manage behaviour and build resilience
Implement and review behaviour support plans and interventions
Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and inclusion across the school
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
The successful Primary Behaviour Mentor will have:
Proven experience working with primary-aged children with SEMH needs
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
The ability to de-escalate challenging situations and support emotional regulation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
