Senior Quality Engineer - Assurance

Our client, a leader in the submarine solutions industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer - Assurance to join their team in Barrow. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and assurance are maintained across various projects. The position is full-time and on-site, with no hybrid working option available, and is offered on a 12-month contract basis.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of quality assurance principles within the defence or aerospace sectors. Key requirements include:

As a Senior Quality Engineer - Assurance, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough quality assurance audits and assessments.
• Ensuring all activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality goals.
• Documenting and reporting on quality metrics and performance.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

This role is based in Barrow and requires on-site presence with no option for remote work. It is a full-time position, comprising 37 standard hours per week. The contract duration is 12 months.
