Your new role
As Interim Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the family office. Reporting directly to the principals, you'll be responsible for producing full management accounts, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis. You'll also act as a business partner across the portfolio, helping to evaluate business cases and investment opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

Producing full monthly management accountsBalance sheet reconciliationsBudgeting and forecastingP&L variance analysis with commentaryDaily cash flow managementPosting income and cost accrualsPrepayment journalsPetty cash reconciliationPayroll processing Supporting investment appraisals and business case developmentLiaising with external advisors and stakeholdersWhat you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)Experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a family office, SME, or investment environmentStrong analytical and commercial acumenExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working onsite in a small, collaborative teamProactive, hands-on approach with a high level of integrity and discretionWhat you'll get in return
