Our client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic health care business based near Bank Station. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, cashflow management, and consultant payment processes.

Your new role

• Produce full Management Accounts Pack including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, ensuring accuracy and readiness for year-end audit.
• Weekly cashflow management
• Update cashflow forecasts
• Ensure all proposed payments have complete supporting documentation prior to management approval.
• Variance analysis: Independently review and report on variances against budget and forecast.
• Consultant statements:
• Create and distribute consultant statements.
• Ensure timely processing of consultant payments.
• Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a health care or similar service-based business.
• Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software.
• Excellent understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Part Qualified
