Risk and control lead, 11-month contract, up to £535 p/d, Belfast (on-site 3 days p/w)
We are currently working with a global financial services organisation on the recruitment of a Risk and Control Lead who will be required to design, develop and implement Human Capital Risk (HCR) requirements for the markets business. This role will lead the end-to-end implementation of controls and the reporting and risk assessments that go along with these controls.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute Inherent Risk assessments tailored to the HCR risks and Markets businesses.Understand Manager Control Assessments (MCA) data, identify deficiencies and work across business and markets stakeholders to remediateDefine and drive the implementation of standardized HCR controls and monitoringWork with markets stakeholders to understand risks and required controls across businessesStandardize HCR Reporting. Identify different data sources and assess methodologies to make recommendations for markets
Essential CriteriaAt least 5 years operating as a PM or BA in an enterprise environmentUnderstanding of operational risk management frameworksAn in-depth knowledge of threat, risks and controls (preferably specific to financial)A proven ability to apply business understanding to developing robust risk and control policies and proceduresStrong collaboration and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret and synthesize complex information and data into actionable insightsProven ability to proactively identify opportunities to optimise and streamline processes, propose solutions and lead implementation of improvements
