HGV Technician

Mobile HGV Mechanic / Technician £50-55k, Monday to Friday 38 hour working week, Regional role Company Van. Northwest based.

Are you an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic looking for the autonomy of a field-based role without the burnout of "on-call" rotas and weekend shifts?

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV / PSV Technician who has worked on buses and coaches to work in a regional role across the Northwest

As the HGV / PSV Mechanic / Technician you will be involved in:

• Fleet Inspections: Conducting mid-term and end-of-contract inspections to assess vehicle condition, safety, and wear (e.g., tire tread depths).
• Maintenance & Repair: Carrying out remedial work and ensuring vehicles are fit for lease or sale.
• Customer Liaison: Acting as a professional technical face for the company when visiting client sites and dealerships.

As the Mobile HGV / PSV Mechanic / Technician you will receive:

• Premium Salary: A highly competitive package of £50k-£55k + a performance-related profit share.
• True Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday only. No weekends and no emergency call-outs.

What would we like you as the Mobile HGV / PSV Mechanic / Technician to have?

• Technical Expertise: Level 3 HGV/PSV qualified (or CBE/IRTEC equivalent).
• Product Knowledge: Strong experience with modern chassis (ideally Volvo, MAN, or Scania).
• Professionalism: You must be computer literate and comfortable in a customer-facing role.
