Looking for your next interim opportunity within the Private Rented Sector?
A Hertfordshire local authority is looking for a PRS Officer to join their lettings team on an initial 3-month interim contract.
You'll be working closely with tenants and landlords across the private rented sector, helping to prevent homelessness and secure appropriate accommodation.
Key responsibilities:
Providing tenancy sustainment support to private sector tenants and landlords
Preventing homelessness through early intervention, including rent arrears and benefit-related issues such as Universal Credit
Building strong working relationships with private landlords and letting agents
Sourcing suitable private rented accommodation to support the discharge of statutory duties
Supporting Rent in Advance and Deposit Guarantee schemes, including investigation of deposit claims
What you'll need:
Recent experience working within PRS, Lettings or Resettlement
Experience using Locata
Ability to work 1-2 days per week in the office, with some travel across the borough.
