Fitter

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for snagging work for previously installed canopies & acoustic covers.

You will be assembling, repairing, painting, fixing and maintaining various structural and mechanical components on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble & repair components according to project specifications.
• Use a variety of hand tools & power tools
• Perform rigging tasks such as lifting, positioning, and securing heavy materials safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
• Conduct maintenance tasks including pipe fitting, component replacement, and troubleshooting mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times; communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities on-site.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card
• IPAF is preferable but not essential
• Basic hand tools would
• 6 point PPE

Immediate starts available, 3 months work

Pay between £18 - £22.50 depending on experience & relevant tickets paid via CIS
