Brent Council is recruiting a Locum Adult Social Worker to join their Adult Social Care team in London, supplied via Guidant Global. This is a Monday to Friday role, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work within a diverse and vibrant borough, supporting adults to live safely and independently.
Key responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of adults with a range of needs under the Care Act 2014
Completing strengths-based assessments, support plans, and reviews
Undertaking safeguarding enquiries and Mental Capacity Act assessments
Working collaboratively with service users, families, and partner agencies
Producing clear, high-quality records and statutory documentation
Promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for adults
