R&D Engineer

Our client, an innovative company in their field is currently looking for a R&D Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

As an R&D Engineer, you'll play a key part in delivering both new and existing product development projects from concept through to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and delivery of new and existing products and associated instrumentation
• Manage and support product development activities from concept through to verification, validation and transfer to manufacture
• Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with regulatory and quality system requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, manufacturing, marketing and suppliers
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with company strategy

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience managing product development projects, ideally within a regulated industry
• Strong ISO 13485 knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Solid CAD capability, preferably using SolidWorks
• Understanding and practical application of FEA (theory and software)
• Demonstrable success in delivering robust, effective product designs
