Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to support ongoing construction activities at a project site in Swindon. This is a 20-week contract suitable for someone with previous site experience, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with day-to-day tasks on site
• Carry out general labouring duties including:
  • Site clearance and keeping work areas tidy
  • Moving, loading and unloading materials
  • Basic manual handling tasks
• Support with deliveries and ensure materials are stored safely
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment as required
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and management
• Comply with all site health & safety procedures
• Report any hazards, incidents, or issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Previous site labouring experience (preferred)
• Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• PPE required (boots, hi-vis, hard hat - specialist PPE provided if needed)

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Approx. 40 hours per week
• Occasional overtime may be available depending on site needs
