Business Objects Developer - Inside IR35 - 6 months contract - Rate TCB (circa 500 a day)

Mainly remove (Occasional onsite in Herts or Central London)

Are you an experienced Business Objects Developer looking for a new challenge?

Do you have a background in BO systems (Universe + Reports) and along with strong experience of Ticketing Tools (similar to Remedy and/or ServiceNow)

Overview:

To redevelop Contractual Reports from a Back End Remedy Dataset to a ServiceNow Dataset.

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate deep data management expertise with excellent SQL design and engineering skills

Strong BI development experience, including data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop Business Objects reports and dashboard solutions for a wide variety of Business Intelligence projects and write functional and technical specs

Solid technical background and experience in reporting, Business Intelligence, MIS applications

Understand and implement solution in support of physical data models necessary to support Business Intelligence reporting initiatives

Define and design the universe, BI Dashboards and reports

Develop, Support and improve existing BO systems - including both Universe and Reports

Responsible for documenting modifications of pre-existing development new development for peer reference and knowledge transfer

Strong emphasis on delivering an excellent customer experience, while working under pressure with urgency, with an ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the business.

You will be diligent in your administration and reporting approach with very strong stakeholder communication skills.

You will be rigorous in your scope management and the ability to manage customer expectations, control change and negotiate compromise.

You will be disciplined in your prioritisation, time management and scheduling abilities - multi-tasking skills are essential.
