Construction & Engineering Underwriter

We are pleased to be working on behalf of a leading and global insurance provider, who require an Underwriter experienced in the construction / engineering sectors (either domestic or international) to join their growing department underwriting and producing insurance and reinsurance business within authority levels.

Responsibilities:

• Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting of cases in a consistent and technical manner within the authority limit.
• You will act as the primary contact for medium sized clients and support with larger sized clients.

Experience:

• Candidates need to come from an engineering or construction underwriting background and have knowledge of the UK or international construction market.
• You will be calm, flexible, diplomatic and have strong commercial acumen.
• You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and CRM systems
