Administrator/ Receptionist, Full time, Belfast, £12.72 per hour

A public sector organisation is recruiting for an administrator/ receptionist based in Belfast.
Your new role
As the Administrative Assistant & Receptionist, you will act as a key point of contact within the Academic Office, providing essential administrative and front of house support. Your duties will include:

  • Delivering a professional reception service, responding to enquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Preparing letters, documents, and presentations using standard templates.
  • Maintaining accurate administrative records through data entry, filing, photocopying, and routine record keeping.
  • Running scheduled reports and extracting information from internal databases to support operational needs.
  • Verifying information and flagging any inconsistencies or anomalies.
  • Providing administrative assistance across programme, placement, and international activity areas, including mail outs, registrations, and general team support.
  • Assisting in organising internal and external meetings/events by coordinating room bookings, catering, and relevant materials.
  • Managing daily tasks effectively and following established procedures for ordering supplies and processing routine paperwork.
  • Working flexibly with other departments when required and contributing to shared team objectives.
This is a varied and people focused role suited to someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy administrative environment.
