A growing international organisation within the transport and logistics sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems/Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This company is undergoing significant transformation and investment in financial systems, making it an exciting opportunity for a technically strong accountant with advanced systems expertise to drive change, improve processes, and support strategic decision making.
Your new role
As Senior Systems/Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial reporting, controlling core financial processes, and leading system optimisation across the business. This is a critical role requiring both strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to drive systems improvements that enhance accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- 5+ years' experience in financial accounting and systems management.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in transport, logistics, or related industries.
- Project management experience (system implementations, upgrades, automation).
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
