Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (English / Science / Maths / Psychology)

We are working with a supportive secondary school in South London who are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant with a background in English, Science, Maths or Psychology.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is considering a career in education, psychology or teaching, and is keen to gain hands-on classroom experience supporting pupils at secondary level.
The role:
Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 in lessons and small groups
Providing targeted academic support in your subject specialism
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
Assisting with behaviour management and classroom engagement
Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support progress
The ideal candidate:
Holds a degree in English, Science, Maths or Psychology
Is passionate about education and supporting young people
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is patient, resilient and proactive
Is considering a future career in teaching, psychology or education
