My client is one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan, with an established presence across all consumer and corporate banking businesses. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, they offer a diverse range of financial services, including commercial banking, leasing, securities, credit card, consumer finance and other services.
They are looking for an EU Oversight and Controls VP on an initial 12-month contract with the potential to extend. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday standard office hours, however there will need to be flexibility to work outside of these hours as required. The position is hybrid working being in the office 2-3 days a week with the remainder of time working from home.

As part of the organisations compliance transformation program they are implementing end-to-end mapping and traceability across their regulatory obligations. This role will lead on the identification, assessment and mapping of both new and current regulatory change.
Stakeholders will include EMEA senior management, colleagues across the first line and other control and support functions.
